Hugo is currently the Office Manager of Bole Shanghai office and he is responsible for the overall management of the Bole Shanghai office including domestic business, team operation and client development.  Hugo has led the expansion of Bole Shanghai office and leading the development and execution of Bole’s strategic plans for Shanghai region.

Hugo has over 16 years of executive search experience covers all levels of management with particular emphasis on Senior Executive-level searches, Heads of Business and operational leaders as well as all functional areas reporting to these roles.

His industry experience has covered a wide variety of sectors, more recently focusing on Automotive, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, consumer and Industrial.

Hugo has a broad functional expertise working across general management, sales, marketing, strategy, corporate development, HR, operations, supply chain as well as legal and compliance.

Prior to joining Bo-Le Associates, he was the VP and principle consultant led a European -based boutique executive search firm with three offices in China. He was responsible for china team’s operation and client development. Earlier in his career, he was the Senior Strategic Business Consultant for a Belgian trading company specializing in electronics and telecommunication components.

With over 11 years studying and living in Belgium, Hugo received his MBA Masters of Business Administration and MPA Masters of Public Administration from University of Antwerp and he serves as the Chairman of the China Alumni of University of Antwerp.
